Financial Administrative Employee Transport / Transport Finance Specialist

ADM Totaal B.V. is a growing administration office and is looking for a financial specialist with knowledge of the administrative and accounting aspects of the transport sector.

 

We are not looking for a transport planner, but someone who understands the financial goings-on behind a transport company and can independently process, verify, and reconcile transport records.

​

What will you be doing?

​​

  • Independently process, verify, and reconcile financial records, including bank, debtors, creditors, and interim accounts.

  • Process and verify transport revenue and transport and fleet costs, such as fuel, tolls, maintenance, insurance, and other expenses.

  • Manage the financial processing of the fleet, including the purchase/sale of vehicles, assets, depreciation, leasing, and financing.

  • Process and assess Dutch and international invoices and the associated VAT handling.

  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with period and year-end closings.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve administrative discrepancies and anomalies.

 

What we are looking for

  • Good accounting knowledge.​

  • Preferably demonstrable experience with financial administration within transport or logistics.

  • You can independently book, reconcile, verify, and finalize entries.

  • You understand the cost structure and financial administration of a transport company.

  • Knowledge of fleet and asset administration is a strong plus.

  • You work accurately and independently.

  • Experience with Exact Online is a strong plus.

  • Good Excel skills are a plus.

 

Particularly interesting: payroll within transport

​

Do you have experience with payroll administration within the transport sector in addition to financial transport knowledge? If so, that is a major plus for us. Think, for example, of knowledge of the Collective Labour Agreement for Professional Goods Transport, driver payroll processing, overtime and allowances, wage and pension declarations, and pension schemes within the transport sector.

 

Experience with Exact Online Payroll, Nmbrs, or other payroll software is a plus. International payroll knowledge is an additional plus. Payroll knowledge is not a strict requirement.
